Traffic Advisory: Rain and Wind May Impact the Evening Commute

The Boston Transportation Department would like to advise commuters to use caution this evening during the PM commute due to the forecasted heavy rain and wind expected this afternoon.

Motorists should lower traffic speed to avoid hydroplaning and skidding on slick roadway surfaces.  An extra emphasis should be placed on pedestrian movement during this inclement weather as visibility will be impacted.

Police safety tips vis-a-vis robberies

Hey guys, Sgt. Eric Krause was kind enough to provide tips on how to stay safe following two recent robberies around Boynton/McBride/Southwest Corridor. He posted these as a reply to one of my posts, and I just wanted to move it up to a level of better visibility, since these tips are so very helpful and important. Please share them with your neighbors, your family and your friends, and thank you again to Sgt. Krause for taking the time to post them.

How can we move past conflict back to each other?

Neighbors,
