There have been 68 people arrested for Robbery on District 13 since February of '09. The majority are from Boston. There are a few from outside of Boston such as Avon, Norwood, Revere, North Quincy and Randolph. 14 are from Jamaica Plain.

At about 5:05pm, on Sunday, February 14, 2010, officers from Area E-13 (Jamaica Plain) were on patrol in the area of 1870 Columbus Ave when a Boston Firefighter exited the firehouse in order to wave the officers down. In the months of March, May, July, August, September, October and November of 2009, the city received fifty thousand 911 calls a month. Around 5:05 pm on Monday, January 4, 2010, officers arrested two males in their early 20's for robbing a 40 year old male from Dorchester. The victim was sitting in his car when the suspect opened the car door and robbed him. Three other suspects were able to get away. The victim positively ID'd the two suspects that were arrested. The suspects gave Roxbury addresses.

DEATH INVESTIGATION IN THE AREA 265 CENTRE STREET
At about 12:41am, on Tuesday, January 5, 2010, officers from Area E-13 (Jamaica Plain) responded to a radio call for shots fired in the area of 265 Centre Street. Two 18 year olds and one 16 year old were arrested for attempting to rob a female resident of Jamaica Plain. Victim was walking on Boylston street towards Germania Street when the suspects attacked her. Last night around 7pm a 47 year old female reported that she was robbed of her purse by by two males in their early 20's. She stated to the officers that she spoke with the two suspects for a couple of minutes prior to the robbery. The incident happened on Amory st near Centre st. If you frequent Jackson Square T station then you are most likely familiar with this pathway. I highly recommend that you avoid it at night. It is a desolate area and you travel it at night at great risk.
