Residential Breaking and Entering

The Hyde Square area has been impacted by a spike in residential breaking and entering. We have increased day time patrols in that area. We have also reviewed the method of entry in each case. JP Branch Library In Danger of Closing

FYI, it looks like the BPL will go forward and close 8-10 library branches and many people think that the JP branch at Sedgwick is in danger of being one of the branches that is closed. Two arrested for Robbery

At about 5:05pm, on Sunday, February 14, 2010, officers from Area E-13 (Jamaica Plain) were on patrol in the area of 1870 Columbus Ave when a Boston Firefighter exited the firehouse in order to wave the officers down. New Policy: Approving new members

Neighbors,

This morning, like every morning, I checked the network. What I saw was 10 new members, each of them spammers. They posted blogs to random sites trying to sell us crap.

To help stop this, I changed the settings so each new member will need to be approved. This will take more time, but I think it's worth it to uphold the integrity and relevance of content that is shared here on NFN JP.
